Your medical information is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Here is a short explanation of how we protect it. You can find the full details in our Privacy Policy.
1Where your information is stored
The servers that run the system, and the backups, are located in Israel (Oracle Cloud, Jerusalem region).
Backups are encrypted before they leave the server, and are deleted in the regular backup cycle.
2Encryption
Sensitive information is encrypted, both in transit and at rest.
Files and documents are stored encrypted, never in a public folder.
Your ID number is stored encrypted, and is never sent by email or WhatsApp.
We do not store credit card details. Payments are processed by a payment processor, and we keep only a token.
3Who can see your information
Access is limited by role: only the staff member treating you, and people who need the information for their work.
Every view of your file is logged. In the app, you can see who viewed your information.
Family members see information only according to the permission you gave, and you can revoke it at any time.
4Secure sign-in
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone, and after that with Face ID or a device passcode.
Before you can see your medical file, we will ask for an extra verification step.
Never share your code with anyone. We will never ask you for it over the phone.
5Standards and procedures
Care Plus holds ISO 27001 and ISO 27799 certificates, the standards for information security and health information security. Hospedale's systems are not yet within the scope of the certification. They are being built to the same standards, and extending the certification to them is planned.
We follow the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security).
If a security incident happens, we will follow our procedure and report it to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority and to you when the law requires it.
